This mod aims to bring a sense of tactical defense and immersive realism to the small, resilient town of Goodsprings, which is in dire need of an appropriate guard post, considering its vulnerable position and history with the Great Khans.

Goodsprings, the tranquil oasis in the middle of the Mojave, sits snugly nestled between two imposing cliffs with a meandering road dissecting them. Its geographical layout, though picturesque, doesn't provide the best line of sight for incoming threats. The road leads from a neighboring area that was once under the rule of the Great Khans, notorious for their raiding culture. This inconvenient proximity paints a bulls-eye on the peaceful settlement, making it a potential target for unanticipated attacks.

This is where my mod comes into the picture. I've introduced a strategically designed guard post to counter Goodsprings' inherent vulnerabilities, essentially to the area behind the gas station, leading towards Bittersprings. This spot is uniquely situated where the town's natural topography fails to provide any defensive advantage. The guard post creates an observable point that oversees the road, a vantage point the town sorely lacked previously.

The guard post, though currently abandoned due to the looming Cazador threat, stands as a stark reminder of the town's tumultuous past and its enduring survival spirit. It's not hard to imagine a time when this watchtower was bustling with guards, their eyes peeled for the smallest sign of a Khan raiding party.

As you approach Goodsprings from the other side, from the direction of Jean, the town's panorama is clearly visible, reducing the need for a similar setup. As such, this version of the mod focuses exclusively on fortifying the area behind the gas station. However, I'm all ears for your feedback and suggestions.
