📋 About This Mod

eGc2CBxht9I

Super-simple scriptrunner to make NPCs within 600 units of anyone taking a stealth boy react (actually any item that causes the stealth boy invis effect).

Inspired by similar cool mods for Skyrim.

The NPCs won't be annoyed or anything, they'll simply let out a "CombatToLost" bark which usually sounds like "Where'd he go?" or similar.

There's a 50/50 chance they'll go looking for you, but again it has zero actual consequences for combat (assuming they are not enemies).

Companions will ignore you, as will dead, disabled, sleeping etc. NPCs.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

This mod makes NPCs in Skyrim react to the player turning invisible, adding a layer of immersion for stealth players. With 296 endorsements and 32,170 downloads, it's a popular, lightweight gameplay tweak that requires no ESP file.

✨ Key Features

NPCs now react when the player becomes invisible in front of them
ESPless design means no plugin slot is used, keeping load order clean
Simple installation—just drop the files into the Data folder

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Adds a simple but effective immersion boost for stealth builds
  • No ESP means it won't clutter your load order or cause conflicts
  • Solid community backing with 296 endorsements and 32k downloads

⚠️ Cons

  • Only affects invisibility reactions—no other stealth mechanics are touched
  • No detailed patch notes or compatibility info provided by the author
  • Last updated in August 2025—may not be tested with the latest Skyrim updates
🎯 Is This For You?
For stealth-focused players who want NPCs to acknowledge your invisibility, making sneaking feel more reactive. If you're a pure mage or warrior who rarely uses invisibility, you can skip this—it's a niche tweak.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since it's ESPless, just extract the files into your Skyrim Data folder—no mod manager needed, but using one helps with uninstalling.
  • If you use a mod manager, make sure to enable the mod after installing to avoid any file overwrite issues.
  • Test with a quick invisibility spell in a crowded area to see the reactions—it's most noticeable in cities or dungeons.
