📋 About This Mod
NEW FOOD SANITIZER MODEL
1. DESCRIPTION
New model for Food Sanitizer that you probably will not even see since it'll probably be in your inventory and is not used in NV without mods. It best fits the TTW. I made it in a way I imagined it. It has an animated fan, glow map (because that's where the radiation accumulates :P), Abraxo sign, new physics with yellow thingy being a separate object connected with a constraint.

I actually made this to learn more about baking normal maps from high-poly mesh to a low poly-mesh using Blender.
Btw, if you're baking normal maps in Blender and wondering why it looks bad in Nifskope or in-game, make sure you invert the green channel after baking using Blender or any image editor that allows individual editing of RGBA channels (GIMP, for example).
2. INSTALLATION Use any mod manager you like to install it. No esps.
3. UNINSTALLATION
Same as installation, but reversed.
4. TOOLS USED
- Blender
- - Paint. NET
- - GIMP
- - Nifskope
Hope you'll enjoy it!

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 640 endorsements and 24k downloads — clearly a lot of people dig it.
- Scratch-made model means it's not a lazy retexture; you get a genuinely new look.
- Lightweight and focused — just swaps one model, no gameplay changes to worry about.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2016 — might not play nice with the latest Fallout 4 patches or DLC.
- It's purely cosmetic — if you wanted functional changes, this isn't for you.
For Fallout 4 players who want a fresh look for their settlement crafting stations without overhauling the whole game. If you're a mod collector who appreciates high-quality model replacements, this is a solid pick. Skip if you're after gameplay tweaks or if you're on a newer game version and worried about compatibility.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple model replacer, just drop the files into your Data folder or use your mod manager — no load order headaches.
- If you're on the latest Fallout 4 patch, test it early in a settlement to make sure the model shows up correctly.
- Pair it with other settlement texture mods for a cohesive visual upgrade.
