Straight outta 2009 the iconic M4A1 from MW2 is now in the Mojave Wasteland.

Unlike with my previous mods, I've finally dipped into the territory of weapon crafting which opens up the possibility of different attachment combinations without being limited to the 3 attachment count in the base game's weapon modding system. Through the game's typical modding system the player can still equip up to 3 attachments, but through a crafting workbench optic sights and under barrel attachments can be swapped back and forth.

Using the vanilla game's weapon modding system, the player can equip a silencer, a laser sight and an extended magazine respectively. However through the workbench it is possible to equip different optic sights such as a red dot sight or an ACOG scope, or attach under barrel mods such as a vertical grip or an angled grip.

As always there is full leveled integration so the weapons will appear on enemies, merchants and containers. And just like in MW2's single player, NPCs will have a chance of spawning with random attachment combos. You can purchase the base M4A1 variants at the Gun Runners, along with its item mods. In addition, there is free test copies available in a footlocker inside the Goodsprings Schoolhouse. Remember, to equip under barrel attachments and optic sights take them and the base M4A1 variants to a workbench.
