📋 About This Mod
MP40 Revamped
You can also find my old animation set for NS' MP 40 here. Consider it a companion mod, the nifs here are a different scale and those animations are made for said scale. Just install this over it because the animation set includes meshes and those relevant changes have been forwarded to this mod.
Mesh changes include:
-More polys in select areas.
-Totally redone UV maps with stitching and mirroring where possible so you get better quality textures at no cost to performance.
-A new high poly model for baking.
-RTR flags added to the Nif
New textures:
-All new, high quality textures made in Substance Painter.
-All textures have been encoded using Crunch, which is one of the better encoders for DXT1 especially.
-Baked in lighting for nicer quality, using a mix of ambient occlusion bakes and material previews from Substance.
Two quality options:
High Quality (HQ)
DXT1 Diffuse - 4K
DXT5 Env Map Mask - 2K
DXT5 Normal - 4K
Medium Quality (MQ)
DXT1 Diffuse - 4K
DXT5 Env Map Mask - 1K
DXT5 Normal - 2K
There is also a non-RTR optional file (Removes the Nif flags for RTR).
TL;DR: If you don't use RTR, install one of the main files, THEN install this over top, replacing the meshes from the main files.
