📋 About This Mod
Introduction
This mod adds a Mossberg 590 special-purpose shotgun to the world of New Vegas, complete with three mods: a custom muzzle brake, heat shield, and a short-range scope for shooting slug shells. It is a bit more powerful than the vanilla hunting shotgun, holds more ammo, and fires a bit faster. It can be found on a hobo in Freeside near Mick and Ralph's, or bought at various vendors. It has been added to the leveled lists, and appears on NCR soldiers occasionally.
This is my second weapon mod, and my first for New Vegas. I'm still getting used to modeling and texturing, so feedback or constructive criticism would be appreciated. This was a small, simple project I did to hone my skills, so I didn't really want to put too much time and effort into it.
Update 2. 0 completely revamps the models and textures. It also removes the wooden stock mod and replaces it with a heat shield.

Installation
To install the mod, simply extract the folder labeled "Data" in the main file into your Fallout New Vegas main directory. Or, just use the mod manager. Make sure to activate the .esp in the manager or in the data files.
