The reason I created this mod was because I saw little use of the crafting mechanics when it came to food. Do you know how many different ways a steak can be cooked up? Well, it seems that Obsidian doesn't know.
Thus, this mod tries to expand considerably the available number of culinary recipes, using only the consumable objects already present in the game.
In addition, in vanilla, there are few food consumables that offer benefits or disadvantages. If eating raw Yao Guai meat offers 10% damage per 2m, why don't more complex dishes like squirrel stew or desert salad give a higher or similar bonus?
You can check the recipes in the articles section, in the document "Recipes.txt" attached to this mod, or from the game itself, obviously.
I tried to maintain a certain balance in the benefits granted by the new consumables to avoid imbalance; however, I believe it is appropriate to provide a greater amount of these benefits to make cooking and consuming foods and drinks more interesting and satisfying, beyond simply increasing or reducing hunger or thirst (except for the "precooked" dishes, which are made by putting together products such as InstaMash or Cram).
There are currently 21 recipes available: 7 drinks and 14 meals. I plan to expand the number of recipes further in the future, but that will be in version 2. 0!
