Loading Wheels NVSE

Details:

Replaces the loading screen roulette wheel with faction-appropriate variants based on your destination. Traveling to Camp McCarran? NCR wheel. Entering The Fort? Legion wheel. Random wasteland location? One of several wasteland variants picked at random.

• []Location-aware loading screens - wheel changes based on where you're going.

  []Falls back to random "wasteland" variants for neutral locations or ones we may have missed.

  []Optional "random only" mode via INI if you don't want location matching.

  []Works on map fast travel and door transitions as well as savegame loading

  Adding Your Own Variants:

  Create a folder in:

  textures\interface\loading_variants\

  with any name. Inside, add one or more of these DDS files:

  • []load_roulette_wheel.dds

    []load_roulette_ball.dds

    []load_roulette_bars.dds

    Folder naming matters for location matching:

    • []NCR - NCR locations (camps, Hoover Dam, etc…).

      []The Legion - Caesar's Legion locations.

      []House - Strip casinos, Lucky 38.

      []BoS - Brotherhood of Steel base and safe house.

      []Great Khans - Red Rock Canyon.

      []Boomers - Nellis AFB.

      []Followers - Followers of the Apocalypse

      []Fiends - Vault 3, South Vegas etc…

      []PG - Powder Gangers camps, prison, Vault 19.

      []Independent - Freeside

      []Wasteland* - Any folder starting with "wasteland" is used for neutral locations.

      You don't need all three textures - missing ones will use vanilla.

      INI Options

      Config\WheelRandomiserNVSE.ini

      bRandomOnly=0

      Set to 1 to ignore location matching and always pick randomly. Then you can add your own wheels as mentioned above.
