Living Module 04

Description:

This mod contains new textures and meshes for a container-based home inspired by Battlefield 2142. L04.esp places a test version north-north-east of Jacobstown and the optional download turn it into a decorated, usable house.

This mod is mainly intended as a resource and you are allowed to use the meshes and textures contained in this mod for other mods in Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 3 or TES IV Oblivion under the conditions that you notify me of your work. For use in other games or applications you must ask me for permission first.

Also note that some shadows are rendered to the textures. This means that the furniture has defined places in the container and moving them will create a missmatch with these pre-rendered shadows. Pillows, monitors and the door are unaffected by this.

Contribute:

The mod is far from perfect. Both nifs and textures could be better and I would welcome if anyone wanted to improve them. If you do, please send me your work so that it can either be linked to as a recommended download or be incorporated in the main file.

Update 1. 1:

1. 1 fixes several problems with the previous nifs and introduce brand new ones! Check the README for more information.

Optional Charleston House:

Replacement esp that turn the test into a usable, decorated house with a map marker. Features usable oven, combined bed/sofa, clean water tap, workbench, ten containers and some flowers. Requires main file and updates. Recommended to use FengShui (search for it here on NVNexus) to lock weapons in place for display.

Known problems:

The window of the oven is not transparent. Caused by there not being any alpha property in the nif-file, will not be fixed by me, I can't get this property to work properly.

Big ting next to the kitchen not doing anything. Caused by being a shower/toilet that is out of order for the moment. Could be used as an activator for a script of some kind?

Monitor object is half the size it should be. Caused by conversion between formats not working properly, fix by setting scale to "2" in GECK.
