Lively Gourmand

DESCRIPTION

I always found The Gourmand strangely lifeless, almost painfully so.

This mod aims to bring the restaurant back to life while preserving the vanilla atmosphere.

NPCs can now:

• Play eating and drinking animations

• Trigger meal-related sounds

• Behave in a more natural and believable way

• Members of the White Glove Society no longer stand frozen in place. Their behavior has been adjusted to use more realistic, lore-friendly idle animations, making the dining area feel active and inhabited.

The goal is not to redesign the location, but to subtly enhance it by filling empty corners and underused spaces without breaking the original mood or aesthetic.

Ownership has also been logically reassigned: the White Glove Society now properly owns most clutter (both vanilla and newly added items).

So yes, stop stealing their wine bottles and plates.

An optional waiting line has also been added at Marjorie’s counter (enabled by default).

Between 0 and 7 NPCs can queue there dynamically.

COMPATIBILITY

YUP changes have been mostly forwarded. Some have been cancelled to avoid NPC trying to reach chairs that are impossible to reach.

It's not compatible with mods bringing big changes to The Gourmand.

It's compatible out of the box with Windows of the Mojave.
