A few years back, I made a mod which replaced Legion armors in the Mojave with tastefully nif-bashed versions of dragbody's excellent Roman armors. I did this because I've always felt that the vanilla Legion armor failed to sell the faction as what it's written to be- an empire. Plus, where the hell did they find all those football pads? Like, actually think about that. It's a lot of football pads.

Well, recently I was exploring the Frontier and I realized, these Legion guys look goofy as hell. Seriously. They're all wearing Helghast uniforms. Dumb. Especially when the NCR, supposed to be more technologically advanced, are dressed like it's the Battle of the Bulge. If only someone made a mod that changes their armor to the cool Roman stuff, too.

So I did that. Feel kinda silly that I didn't do this sooner, honestly.

This mod does not require the original LEGIO mod, though I of course recommend it- particularly the Summer Edition. Using both mods together creates what I think is a very solid visual consistency for the faction.

A few notes:

-I didn't change any gloves. I think they look fine but if any are glaringly out of place, let me know.

-I avoided any armors associated with named characters. If you find anything you think I missed, let me know.

-The Frontier has "WAR" versions of some faction armors- much like how the base game has low-res "DamWar" versions of faction armors to lower the graphical load in big battle scenes. I have no idea if the Frontier even uses these. Regardless, I did not replace those so as to not impact performance- same goes for the original LEGIO mod.

All real credit goes to Dragbody, who made these awesome armor sets for Fallout: The Frontier. All I did was dork around on NifSkope and xEdit.
