📋 About This Mod
On my new playthrough of New Vegas I decided to do a Cowboy perk run, but when I stole the La Longue Carabine from Sterling, I realized that this weapon has been mostly overlooked and neglected by the modding community, so I basically learned how to do textures just so I could make a proper HD retexture of this bad boy. My first few attempts were pretty bad, but this is the first one that I'm actually happy with. If you find any issues or anything that I should fix, just let me know and I'll get on it as soon as possible (unless it's something that I don't know how to do lol).
I made the textures in 2k. At first I wanted to do 4k, but then I decided that it would be overkill, especially for a weapon that is generally used only by one NPC. I also decided to get rid of the metal ornament that was on the wooden gun-stock, because I don't really like the way it looks. But if enough people request it, I'll probably make a new version with the original ornament. I also considered creating a completely new ornament for my retexture, but then I very quickly found out that it isn't as easy as it looks.
Installation
Install it just like you would any other retexture, just drop the data folder into your game folder, or use a mod manager (NMM, Vortex, FOMM etc.)
Compatibility
Should be compatible with anything as long as it doesn't touch the same textures. WMIM (Weapon Mesh Improvement Mod) will also work with this, in fact I recommend you use it, since I was using it while making this retexture.
