Howdy, I made this mod two years ago. This was the first major mod that I had ever released. I enjoyed making it, however it is no longer being updated. Thanks to all of the people who supported my creation.

Journey to Vault 79

Description: A man named Sam Hudson is sitting at the train tunnel south of Nipton. Perhaps he's waiting for someone to come along and help him get to Vault 79. This mod contains 7 new quests, a brand new fully navmeshed small world with wild animals, raiders, a vault, 1 companion, an ending slideshow, 90+ lines of fully voiced dialogue along with much more dialogue without voice.

Q: What level should I be to play this? A: I recommend levels around 20 or so. It can still be challenging on higher levels, however.

Q: Where do you go to start the quest? A: The quest begins at the Train Tunnel south of Nipton. I really don't like making DLC-like messages pop-up because I feel it annoys the player and breaks the immersion of the game.

• Adds ambient music throughout the world.
• Adds frag mines to the sewers.
• Makes the Narrator a little bit louder.
• Rebalances the Handcar to require 7 STR.
• Rebalances Pepper to have a little less health.
• Charles gives you a key now.
• Gary no longer scams you out of caps.
• Items in the player home footlocker are no longer lost forever after the ending.
• Vault 79 Security Guards and Residents now use the proper clothing.
• Fixes the races of Pepper and Talc.
• Fixes a bug preventing Sam from speaking.
• Fixes a navmesh bug in the Train Tunnel.
• Fixes Pepper's AI. He now attacks like he should.
• Fixes bugged Goodbye choices.
• Fixes a bug in Mark's Script.
• Fixes Rick not disappearing.
• Fixes a bug preventing the player from getting a reward from Mark.
• Fixes a bug preventing the guards in Vault 79 from reacting to someone getting shot.

0. 9. 3 - Adds new vipers to the sewers. - Adds Vertibirds to "Vault Hunting" - Moves the Dynamite Bundle toolbox into a different building. - Fixes Static Collections not loading.

Installation:

Manual Installation 1. Download and open up the JourneyToVault79.rar file with the program of your choice.

2. Drag and drop the files into the Data folder of your Fallout: New Vegas directory. (ex. C:ProgramFiles (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonFallout New VegasData

3. Check the JourneyToVault79.esp file in the Data Files section of the Fallout: New Vegas launcher.

4. Enjoy!
