📋 About This Mod
Affects all permanent companions (Arcane, Lily, Craig, ED-E, etc...) but not those that join up with you just for a mission (Sunny, Neil, and so on). If you feel like testing it, save, open the console and use the kill command on your companion. Does work in Hardcore mode. According to comments from FalloutNVX, this mod conflicts with Better Boone. I would assume that it also conflicts with any mod that changes companions, so do be careful of that. Until a merged patch/bashed patch utility comes out, anyway. Please let me know if I missed any companions!

- Tiny plugin that does exactly what it says: no bloat, no extra scripts.
- Perfect for players who hate losing companions to random arrow or trap.
⚠️ Cons

For Oblivion players who are tired of their followers dying in the middle of a dungeon and want a no-fuss fix. If you're a completionist who likes to keep your party intact, this is for you. Skip if you want more complex companion management—this is purely a death-prevention tweak.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to activate the plugin in your Oblivion launcher's Data Files section after placing it in the Data folder.
- If you're using a mod manager like OBMM or Wrye Bash, you can install it with a single click—just remember to rebuild your Bashed Patch if you use one.
- This mod only affects companions that are flagged as 'essential' by the game; if you have mod-added companions, check their individual settings.
