Honest Barks (new bark textures for maple cedar mesquite and burnt trees)

What this mod is:

New bark textures for all the trees of Honest Hearts, of which there are 4 varieties:

• []Maple

  []Western Red Cedar

  []"Honey" Mesquite

  []and burnt-to-a-crisp! (charcoal, baby)

  []matching trunks and branches with custom normals (and speculars, where applicable)

  []NEW! OPTIONAL FILES: Vanilla foliage, AI-upscaled 2x or 4x (I play at 4K and the 2x is plenty for me, 4x gives diminishing returns)

  Anywhere else in the game you see these kind of trees, they should also have my new bark (and/or upscaled vanilla foliage) textures.

  UPDATE, 5 March 2024:  The patch for Wasted Pines had too much foliage transparency.  Grab the fixed HB-WP update v1. 2 - the trees should now appear lusher and more full.  I also further improved the normal and spec maps.  Big thanks to Conzo and 5al4mand3r for identifying the issue and helping me test and narrow it down, and make sure it's the best it can be.  And thanks to the others who chimed in with helpful advice over on The Wasteland discord server.  Great community!

  What this mod is NOT:

  • []"Overhaul of all the trees in the game" sorry, too ambitious.  It's literally just new bark textures for those 4 types of trees (and their variants).

    []Improved meshes - sorry, not my wheelhouse... these barks look about as good as they can on trees with hexagonal trunks and square branches.

  Compatibility:

  (link) Honest Hearts - Trees Animation Restored - as of this writing, HH-TAR only overwrites maple tree meshes, and HB only overwrites cedar meshes, so they are totally compatible! Rad!!

  (link) Wasteland Flora Overhaul - support for both vanilla and Vurt's WFO mesquites is included in the main mod.  Good to go!

  WFO's optional file "Honest Hearts Trees and Plants and Rocks Overhaul**" - this changes and overwrites a lot of trees in Honest Hearts.  IMO It looks nice, but I also did not do all the barks for these added varieties, so you will get mixed results.  There are also reports of this causing crashes and visual oddities - I personally haven't experienced any during testing, but I guess it is not recommended.  As always, it's your call.

  (link) Bouncing Natural Botany - use the patch under optional files to get those base game cedars swaying again (BnB does not sway the Honest Hearts cedars, only basegame ones - they use different meshes).  Mod list order:
