📋 About This Mod

Description/Using the Hook

This mod adds a new grappling hook found in a container at one of the graves at Goodsprings Cemetery. Throw the hook to a position of your choosing and just move forward! Be warned, you have to keep looking at the point you are going to. If something gets in the way of you and the hook or you look away from it, your grapple will be interrupted. You can also stop a grapple by pressing the "B" key (rebindable via .ini file).

And yes, grappling into the ground will negate fall damage (suck it physics).

There are many things you can do with the grappling hook, and yes getting out of bounds is one of those things. Console commands may be necessary to get out of places you get stuck in, but grappling upwards usually worked for me to get over invisible walls and such.

The rope of your last grapple will stick around until you throw a new one, don't be alarmed if you see a rope hanging around. However, there is also an issue to do with fast traveling away and a rope persisting. No fix for it yet.

Doesn't work properly with b42 quickthrow (consumes hook on use).
