📋 About This Mod

NOTE FOR 1. 5 SCOPE ISSUES: There is an easy fix to my stupid mistake: move the interface folder out of \\meshes\\weapons and into \\meshes otherwise the main file has been updated Name: District 9 Alien Assault Rifle (AAR-525) Author: backstept Version: NV1. 5 Date: 8/27/2011 Cateogry: Weapons =============== Description: =============== This is based on the gun Christopher Johnson uses in MNU HQ and is one of the guns Wikus was forced to test. The designation was simply taken from the title block of a concept drawing by Greg Broadmore. I don\'t know what they called it in the movie. =============== Details: =============== This is a port of my D9 rifle from Fallout 3. There have been some changes, it\'s no longer a LAZOR gun that explodes people, but it\'s a kickin\' energy machine gun with a regen rate. The gun is located in the Lucky 38 Suite. To use alternate textures, simply make a backup copy of AAR525_TEX.dds, and rename AAR525_TEX2.dds or AAR525_TEX3.dds to AAR525_TEX.dds =============== Requirements: =============== Fallout New Vegas =============== Install: =============== 1. Extract the files from the archive. 2. Copy files to (install folder)\\Fallout New Vegas\\Data\\ 3. Start Fallout NV Launcher, click \'Data Files\', place a checkmark beside the .esp file. =============== Un-Install: =============== 1. Start Fallout NV Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file. 2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod. =============== Compatibility: =============== No compatiblity issues so far. =============== Bugs/Issues: =============== None reported so far. =============== History: =============== 1. 0 8/15/2011 - Initial Release 1. 1-1. 3 8/15/2011 - successive updates to troubleshoot texture path issues 1. 4 - Changed skill to Energy Weapons, Ammo Capacity from 240 to 120, Increased Regen rate 1. 5 - tweaked projectile, sound, added new texture alternate =============== Contact: =============== backstept on the nexus forums =============== Credits: =============== Props to Greg Broadmore (http://gregbroadmore.blogspot.com) for the amazing art for District 9 Thanks to Bethesda for creating Fallout 3, and Obsidian for New Vegas.
