Seeing how bland and notoriously overlooked Jackals are in the base game I have decided to give them some soul. I reworked their leveled lists to bring them closer to their cannibalistic and tribal identity, detailed in Fallout Bible and Van Buren's design documents. At the same time I expanded their content a bit by creating a bunch of new gear for them (6 items to be exact), expanding Jackals' presence in one of their locations, and scripting a small, voiced quest, the giver of which is quite familiar with Jackals' history and, if asked, will share it with the player.
Summing up contents of this mod:
- Jackal rags, hoods and armors (based on Classic Fallout armors recreated by MarsPistol)
- Big Jackal encampment in one of their base game locations
- Bounty hunting quest with an optional lore dump (Voiced by ElevenLabs AI)
Quest giver can be found in Novac's mesa tent.
