📋 About This Mod
In the Lonesome Road DLC, both the Scorched Sierra Power Armor and Armor of the 87th Tribe were missing helmets. While there are many mods that restore the Scorched Sierra Power Helmet, there are also high resolution textures such as those found in Power Armor Visual Enhancement. There are mods that have added the Helmet of the 87th Tribe, but they are either just direct copies of the Marked Beast Tribal Helmet or are over a decade old using vanilla quality textures.
This mod adds the Helmet of the 87th Tribe to Centurion Gaius Magnus with its own unique mesh and textures built off the textures from Pommymax's PM's HD Legion Overhaul and you should use these two mods together.

- Advice on Custom Meshes
Adds the Helmet of the 87th Tribe to match Centurion Gaius Magnus' Armor of the 87th Tribe. Designed to work with PM's HD Legion Overhaul, using Pommymax's textures as a base. A niche cosmetic addition for Fallout: New Vegas Legion roleplayers.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid endorsement-to-download ratio (175 endorsements, 62k downloads) shows it's a trusted piece for Legion fans.
- Fills a gap for players who want the full 87th Tribe look without mismatched gear.
- Built on Pommymax's textures, so it blends seamlessly with the popular HD Legion Overhaul.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires PM's HD Legion Overhaul to work as intended—without it, you're missing the base textures.
- Description is cut off mid-sentence, leaving uncertainty about extra features like crafting or stats.
- Niche appeal: only relevant if you're specifically building a Legion character around the 87th Tribe armor.
For Fallout: New Vegas players who roleplay as Legion centurions and want to complete the 87th Tribe set. Also for modders who already use PM's HD Legion Overhaul and want a matching helmet. Skip if you're not into Legion cosmetics or don't use the overhaul.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure PM's HD Legion Overhaul is installed first, or the helmet's textures may look broken.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to avoid overwriting files manually.
- Check the mod's load order—place it after the overhaul to ensure textures load correctly.
