Ammo Variants in Containers

ANVIL is super cool, but it adds a bunch of entries to levelled lists in order to add ammo variants into loot pools. This means that when using a loot scarcity mod such as Famine or Sweet Scarcity, you run the risk of fragmenting your loot drops into partial amounts of regular ammo, and partial amounts of variants. This mod attempts to solve the lack of ammo variants in loot through a different strategy. Instead of dealing with levelled lists and potentially fragmenting existing loot, it simply scans containers and if there is ammo in there, it has a chance to supplement the existing loot with additional ammo based on the ammo type. Meaning if a container normally contains 10mm ammo, you now have a chance to find additional 10mm ammo of any type. Since this mod does add additional ammo to containers instead of simply replacing existing loot, this mod is intended to be used alongside a loot scarcity mod like Famine or Sweet Scarcity.

Limitations

Because ANVIL deals with the levelled lists directly, you can find ammo variants in more places than with this mod. This mod deals exclusively with containers. It also does not affect world drops. I would suggest something like ammo variants base object swapper to handle world drops.

Compatibility

This mod is compatible with everything. You can even use it in combination with ANVIL if you want lots of ammo variants in your loot. Since it uses vanilla formlists to determine which types of additional ammo to place, it is compatible with any mod added ammo that is added to these formlists. Also has built in compatibility for TTW.
