📋 About This Mod
Aftermath - Enhanced Corpse Limit and Decals is a mod that increases the number of corpses on screen without causing them to despawn, it also increases the number of decals that an enemy will draw when it is dismembered and shot.
The Corpse Limit is increased to 75.
The Range at which decals will be drawn has been increased and the number of Decals drawn when a character is wounded or dismembered has been increased as well.
You will see a performance decrease while using this mod. Especially in areas with a lot of combat like Fiend Territory.
This is a very early version of this mod and you may encounter issues with it. If you do encounter any bugs or issues please leave a post on this page and tell us what has happened. We are eager to improve this mod and add more features and fix as many bugs as we can.
This mod is compatible with any gore/blood mod that you may have, we personally recommend that you use dDefinder's Enhanced Blood Mod with the More Gore Optional Plugin, along with RAGDOLLS by MadAce and BLEED by Roy Batty - Puppettron - Qolore and Blood for Everyone by His0ka.
If you come across any compatibility issues please report them to us!

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-tested with 130 endorsements and over 7.5k downloads
- Directly addresses a common complaint about too few corpses in combat zones
- Simple gameplay tweak that enhances the visual chaos of firefights
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2021 – may not be compatible with the latest Fallout 4 patches
- Performance impact on lower-end systems is unknown – could cause FPS drops in crowded areas
For Fallout 4 players who want more realistic battlefields with piles of bodies and blood. If you're tired of corpses vanishing too quickly, this mod is for you. Skip if you're on a weak PC or prefer minimal visual clutter.
