Male Wild Elf Hairs for Modded Heads

DESCRIPTION

This mod is intended for players who are very new to modding and don't know how to use the MDB cloner. (Or, players that are too lazy to convert them, themselves.)

Aside from a few heads from a few modders, the original male Wild Elf hairs tend to have major clipping issues with modded heads... particularly ones cloned from another race on the MDB cloner. (I like to convert Wood Elf/Moon Elf heads, in particular)

I really liked these hairs (even if it doesn't have much of a selection) but the original heads were not my style. However, every time I tried to clone a head from another race to work on male Wild Elves, the forehead clipped through the hair.

Thus, this "mod" was born!

All of the hairs used were NOT made/ported by me. They come from the mod "Wild Hair for More Races" by Camb on the Neverwinter Vault. I simply used the MDB cloner (using the Moon Elf variant) to clone the hairstyles back to Wild Elves. This seemed to do the trick, however, these hairstyles WILL have clipping issues with the original heads.

Because of this, I have included two versions of this mod. The first (and recommended) version simply adds the modified hairstyles while retaining the old ones in case you wish to use the original heads sometime. The second is a replacer of the original hairs, and should only be used if you intend to replace all the heads with modded ones that have clipping issues.

I haven't noticed this problem with the female hairs, but if you do run into it, I am willing to also work on that.

DISCLAIMER: I am by no means an expert on modding. If you have requests on cloning hairs or heads from other races (as long as they are mods), I may be able to attempt that. Sadly though, there are some hairs/heads that are too tough to clone. I also cannot fix any further clipping issues such as ears from another head, etc. as that delves into modifying heads/hairs and I have no clue how to do that.

INSTALLATION

Extract the folder "Male Wild Elf Hairs for Modded Heads" from the .rar file into the Override folder in your NWN2 directory.

The numbers for these hairs on the first version are 70, 71, and 72. Look to screenshots for each hair ID if you wish to pick and choose.
