Invisible Stalker

You sense a presence; a hulking malevolence force that lingers nearby. Yet, search as you might, you see it not--merely the faintest rippling motion in the air, like a desert mirage. Suddenly a burst of air slams into your chest, carrying with it the power of a tornado. Gasping for air, you begin a desperate battle for survival.

This pack provides a template that can be used to introduce the invisible stalker into your campaign. The folder includes a creature blueprint, which appears under the Air Elemental tab. This blueprint uses the standard creature statistics from the SRD (link is external).

The content adds a set of visual effects to produce a rippling fringe in the air while making the body virtually transparent. (These effects were added so that the player would have something interesting to view during the battle. Otherwise, a true invisibility spell would conceal the creature completely.) A custom spawn script applies a 50% concealment effect; the same as with the spell improved invisibility.

To add the invisible stalker to your toolset, just drop the folder in your local override directory. The effect files and spawn script will need to be added to your campaign hak file. A Sound Set for the invisible stalker is available on the neverwintervault.org site.
