camXtra - Camera Mod VOL 9.0.3

camXtra is a rather personal mod that I eventually decided to release

publicly. My goal was to get rid of the terrible shakes (specifically

the vertical motion) for smoother motion with tasteful intensity

throughout. Of course, some will hate and some will like it, or atleast

not hate it. The main version project is included, do whatever you want with it.

Available variations (everything is based on the main version, optional tweaks available)

- Main version

- No shake version (no shake)

- Less cam roll+backward movements version (-roll -back motion)

- Moving action cam version catered specifically for microdrifting (engaged action cam)

Important notes

- Near cam and Far cam are affected but work.

- Action cam is the targeted mode of this mod.

- Designed around 100% ingame shake intensity

- Make sure to move the mod to the bottom in your FrostyModManager list

Installation & Compatibility

Installing it works just like any other mod. FrostyModManager 1. 0. 7 required (available on nexusmods). Readme included for steps.

Detailed changes, broadly

- Highspeed shakes have been reduced dramatically

- Highspeed shakes require higher speeds to trigger

- Offroad shake is not frantic anymore - instead its smoother, slower, stronger.

- Generic NOS is stronger

- Signature/Burst NOS is stronger

FOV/Field of View

- Minimum FOV reduced

- Maximum FOV increased

- Higher speeds required to reach max FOV (more persistent)

NOS FOV/Field of View

- Generic Nos FOV higher

- Signature/Burst FOV increased

Camera Motion

- All NOS Backwards + Forward motion is stronger and faster

- Forward and Backwards motion during accelerating + braking are stronger and faster- Camera is more persistent and loose (camera reset takes longer + its not as reactive)

- Camera roll is emphasized dramatically when turning.

Action Cam Camera Motion

- When loosing traction/sliding, camera position remains unchanged.

Smaller tweaks

- Generic/Signature NOS vignette disabled (the darkened edges of your screen)

- Generic/Signature NOS lens distort disabled (the "fish-eye" effect)

Menu related settings

- Volume setting can go past 100%

Graphical changes

- DOF has been fully disabled for clarity
