NFS 2015 Soundtrack Revisioned (Lore Friendly)

UPDATE: I realized I messed up the song lengths for Pay Me, U Don't Know, and Go on the original ver. 13 files. With the new ver. 14 files, they all now have the correct values.

Breathe new life into the streets of Ventura Bay with this completely overhauled soundtrack!

The music was carefully selected to compliment the aesthetics, vibes, and atmosphere of Need For Speed: 2015, only building upon the memorable identity of the game rather than changing it. The soundtrack blends three major genres: hip-hop, rock, and electronic. I chose those three genres specifically to both stay musically consistent and to also adhere by the same formula as classic NFS titles like Carbon, Most Wanted 2005, and both Underground games. Doing that, I also made sure to touch on all sorts of sub-genres too. Sub-genres such as Boom Bap, Dubstep, Pop Punk, Experimental Hip-Hop, Midwest Emo, Trap, Thrash Metal, Garage, Big Beat, Future Bass, Hard Rock, and more! Another thing I made sure to include was the thriving Los Angeles music scene. Since NFS 2015 is obviously set in a fictionalized version of that city, I made sure to bring that culture into the soundtrack. Its presence is heard throughout all three main genres.

Artists featured in this mod range from rappers such as Dr. Dre, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Nipsey Hussle, Ghostface Killah, Wale, Rick Ross, electronic acts such as Jack U (Diplo and Skrillex), Flume, Flying Lotus, MUST DIE!, RL Grime, and Porter Robinson, and bands such as Slayer, Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon, Modern Baseball, Slipknot, Ghost, and Bullet For My Valentine!

All tracks heard in this mod came out in either 2014 or 2015 (with the most recent songs having come out a month before the game's release). Why? Simply put, I wanted the soundtrack to actually fit the time period NFS 2015 was made, rather than to feel like somebody's Spotify playlist imported into the game. I wanted to truly evoke and respect the era this game was a part of, rather than to disregard it. This is a lore friendly music mod, first and foremost.
