The My Summer Car optimizer, rewritten from the ground up.

If you played My Summer Car a few years back, you probably ran MOP (Modern Optimization Plugin) by Athlon. It's what kept the game smooth. It hasn't seen an update in a long time, so I rewrote it from scratch — same core idea, much cleaner code, and a good number of fixes stacked on top.

This isn't a patched copy of the old mod. Every part was rebuilt so it's easier to keep working as the game and other mods change.

What it actually does

It unloads things you can't see — houses across the map, parked cars, scattered items — and brings them back the moment you get close. The result: more FPS, fewer frame spikes, and nothing goes missing from your save.

  Installation

  • []Install MSCLoader.[/]

    []Put MOPR.dll in your Mods folder.[/]

    []Put MOPRNET.dll in Mods\References — the rules server needs it.[/]

    []Launch the game and set things up in the mod settings.[/]

    Don't run this together with the original MOP or other FPS/optimizer mods. They do the same job and will fight each other. REVIVAL detects them and disables itself while they're installed, so nothing breaks.
