In the base game, using the handbrake keybind only applies the braking force internally. The handbrake lever itself does not move and no interaction audio is played.
Handbrake input now behaves the same way as interacting with the handbrake lever manually (by looking at it). When the handbrake key is used, the lever now animates correctly and the appropriate audio is played (if any).
