A small story about how exactly it happened:
It was just a usual summer day in finland countryside, while suddenly, a wild дед Мороз shown up and freezed all the lakes around Peräjärvi! After a while, he realized he isn't in Russia, but since he is дед Мороз he couldn't unfreeze the lakes, so he just run away from the crime scene until anybody could notice. It appears that the lakes will stay frozen until next spring. Legends say, the ice is magical and it can handle big forces like Gifu filled with crap, it can't break to be exact. So at least the Finns can get faster to the city in case they forgot to buy sausages for the grill party.
