Abandoned Satsuma for restoration

One day after work you go visit Teimo to buy some food and beer. Him being himself, starts telling you his stories with one making you interested. Teimo starts talking about a Satsuma that's for sale, he was asked to put a note with it's information at the bus stop pin board while riding his bike back home from his friend. You pay for your beer and sausages and go check out the offer. The note says: "Myynnissä etuvetoinen Satsuma AMP vuosimallia 1975 hintaan 1851 markkaa. Auto ei ole täydellisessä kunnossa. En ole vastuussa auton ongelmista ostat sen omalla vastuullasi. Jos haluat nähdä sen soita numeroon 90 581 968."

You decide to call the seller and go see it for yourself. The Satsuma is in a horrible state, you thought it would be better guessing by the price but you were wrong. You ask the seller for the high price, and he tells you that he thinks it's a reasonable price, especially with the almost new tires with GT rims. Fortunately for you after some convincing he agrees to lower the price to 1578 markkaa. You hand over the cash and the seller gives you the keys.

Satsuma's history

Before leaving, you decide to ask him about it's history. He replies:

"This car was in my family from the start, it ran for a couple of good years until it eventually broke down. I sold the engine to Fleetari, he didn't really want it but he still took it. I also sold a couple of parts to him, I don't remember which exactly. Ritoranta wanted the radiator so I sold it to him, because I felt bad after his father died despite the rumours claiming it was him who set the house on fire. After that it sat there for a couple of years until my son took interest in it. Back then he was 12 years old and didn't know much about fixing cars. I don't know exactly what he did, all I know is that he bought some body parts for it at the flee market in winter and that he bragged about glueing a Turbo badge to the bootlit, but he also sold a light blue fender because he didn't like the colour. Other than that, I can say that I was the second owner of the car. My father bought it and drove it until he gave it to me when I married my wife. Back when my father bought the car, the Satsuma parts store was still open in Perajarvi next to Lindell. I remember my father buying a couple of parts from them, maybe you can find some left over parts in the old building if they haven't been stolen yet."
