Race Customizer

Take direct control of every race's win target and payout, and keep an honest personal-best record that keeps race's difficulty within Grasp so long as you don't make mistakes. 10% Margin on your Best run by default. optional toggle

Features

[]Time to Beat, your way. Type it how ever is easiest  plain seconds ("80"), a duration like "1m20s", or "1:20". Drift events use a plain points target instead, since that's what they're actually scored on.[/]

[]Reward Money, per race. Set exactly how much cash each race pays out on a win.[/]

[]Verified Best. Verified Best is a separate, stricter record this mod tracks itself: it only updates when a run beats the race's original, untouched default time, no matter what you've since set Time to Beat to.[/]

[]Use My Best Time. One click bulk-fills every race's Time to Beat from your Verified Best, with a 10% cushion so it's tough but still fair: Drift races get best points minus 10%, regular races get your best time plus 10% (a bit more time allowed). It's a one-time fill, not a persistent mode  edit any field afterward and it sticks.[/]

Why its own menu?

SimplePartLoader's mod-settings panel only rebuilds itself when you open it and has no collapsible-section support, which makes it a poor fit for editing a whole race list. So this mod skips it for anything interactive and opens its own window with F8 instead — every race collapses to a single line until you click it open, and every field updates live as you type.

Installation

Drop RaceTimes.dll into your game's Mods folder, same as any other SimplePartLoader mod.

Usage

[]Load into a save.[/]

[]Press F8 to open the Race Customizer window.[/]

[]Click a race's name to expand it.[/]

[]Edit Time to Beat / Reward Money — changes apply to the race immediately.[/]

[]Tick Use My Best Time at the top to bulk-fill every race that has a Verified Best.[/]

[]Press F8 again to close.[/]

Notes

[]All settings and your Verified Best times are saved automatically and reapplied every time you load a save — no need to reopen the menu.[/]

[]Nothing here touches your save file directly; it only sets the same public fields the game itself reads.[/]
