Large Paving

REQUIREMENT:

_SimplePartLoader.dll/ SimplePartLoader is required for Large Paving to load.

Large Paving adds large, easy-to-place paving pieces to My Garage, making it much faster to build big workshops, yards, race compounds, parking areas, roads and custom bases.

I originally made this because paving large areas with the normal building pieces can take forever. Large Paving lets you cover huge areas quickly while still giving you control over positioning, rotation, height and slope.

• 6 paving sizes:

• 5 material options:

- Old Asphalt

- Dark Concrete

- Light Concrete

• Three placement modes:

- OFF – completely free placement

- GRID – snaps to a 2. 5m grid

- EDGE – snaps paving against existing Large Paving pieces

• Rotate pieces in 15° or 90° increments

• Tilt pieces to create ramps and slopes

• Fine height adjustment

• Undo last placement

• Delete individual pieces

• Automatic saving

• Placements survive game restarts

• Solid collision – you can drive over your builds

• Completely free to build with – no in-game money required

Left Mouse      Place

Q / E          Rotate 15°

Shift + Q / E  Rotate 90°

Z / C          Tilt 1°

Shift + Z / C  Tilt 5°

X              OFF / GRID / EDGE snapping

R              Reset rotation, tilt and height

INSTALLATION

Requires _SimplePartLoader.

Place LargePaving.dll directly inside your My Garage\Mods folder.

Start the game, load your save and press F7.

EDGE SNAPPING

For quickly creating large flat areas, EDGE mode allows new pieces to snap against paving you've already placed.

Edge snapping works best with flat pieces at 0°, 90°, 180° and 270° rotations.

For unusual angles, ramps and more complicated builds, switch snapping OFF for manual positioning.

SAVING / IMPORTANT

Large Paving automatically saves your placed pieces to:

My Garage\Mods\LargePaving\placements.txt

Currently, Large Paving uses its own placement file rather than separate placement data for each My Garage save.

If you use multiple game saves, the same Large Paving pieces may therefore appear across them.

Back up placements.txt if you've made a large build you don't want to lose.

WHY I MADE IT

I wanted to build a large workshop/race compound near the racetrack, but covering an area that size using small building pieces wasn't practical.

So I made this.

What started as basically "give me a massive slab of asphalt" turned into a proper little building tool. 😂

Hopefully it's useful for anyone else who wants to build much bigger projects in My Garage without spending forever paving the ground.
