Chaos at the Gates v0.3

The year is 1215; and Calradia is being plunged into darkness. The Swadians, having seized power with the collapse of the old Empire are set upon from all sides. To the south the Khergit horsemen, once paid to protect them, are raiding across the mountains. The Vaegir clans of the north-west, former vassals to the Calradian Empire, have taken up arms. The Nords are sailing to these lands to seize what they believe to be theirs, armed with axe and bow. Even the peasantry themselves are in open revolt; calling for an end to their feudal bondage, forming themselves into the Rhodoks. This is a time of war – a time of bloodshed and pillage, of destruction and ruin, of plague and fire. Chaos is at the Gates. Features

• Chaos at the Gates is an attempt to bring a darker atmosphere and a more consistent level of technology to Mount and Blade. It's not intended to be a huge modification, radically changing the gameplay. However it is intended to create a more gripping and enjoyable experience.
