Sloth's Better Radio (UE4SS)

USES UE4SS BUT THE . ZIP CONTAINS THE BUILD COMPATIBLE WITH MT. IF YOU ALREADY USE UE4SS, SIMPLY TAKE THE FILES YOU NEED AND UPDATE YOUR "mods.txt" FILE

This mod adds extra functionality to the radio in Motor Town: Behind The Wheel. Functionality includes playback features such as

pause/play, seek options, and a user music library (ONLY SUPPORTS . WAV FILES; anything else will not show up in game), all integrated through the radio UI.

F8 = Play/Pause

F7 = Seek Forward 10 seconds

F6 = Seek Back 10 seconds (Useful for stopping the radio from lagging)

Trying to break space and time by seeking 10 seconds beyond the live radio stream will, in fact,

just break the radio until you select a new station or song.

INSTALLATION

This file has been packaged in a way to make the user experience as easy as possible for people who have never

installed UE4SS before.

1) Find your working directory for Motor Town, the easiest way to do this is to open Steam, go to library, right-click

on "Motor Town: Behind The Wheel", hover over "Manage" and click on "Browse Local Files". The file path will look

something like: "...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Motor Town".

2) You will see another folder named "MotorTown". Inside that, you will find a folder named "Binaries". Open it and

there will be a final folder inside called "Win64". Open "Win64" and drag and drop the files "ue4ss" and

"dwmapi.dll" into this folder. The file path should look like this:

"\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Motor Town\MotorTown\Binaries\Win64"

3) Once you have successfully completed that step, you will need to run the game once and exit. This will create

the folder that we need for the "MT_BetterRadio.pak" file.

4) After opening the game and closing it, go back to "...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Motor Town\MotorTown",

Open the "Content" folder and then the "Paks" folder.

5) Inside "...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Motor Town\MotorTown\Content\Paks" you will now have a folder named "LogicMods",

copy the "MT_BetterRadio.pak" into this folder.

6) Finally, we will install the user music library. Navigate back to "...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Motor Town\MotorTown"

and copy the UserMusic folder directly into there. This is your "UserMusic" library; there are many like it, but this one is yours.

Simply fill the folder with . WAV files. When you load into the game and go to the radio tab, you will see a "User Music"

button to the top right of your screen, when you select this button, your user library will be displayed in game for you to
