Molach's Lair

This mod replaces the Wu Shi Academy with Molach's Lair from Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance! This is my first attempt at a stage mod (and maybe the first one that's been done? I'm not sure if anyone else has released one yet) so it's not exactly perfect but I will update in the future to fix some things if I can!

• []The BGM will be the Wu Shi Academy still. The reason for this is simply because I'm not sure how to mod the Deadly Alliance music into it. It's a very different process and I'm not sure how to do it quite yet. If this mod does receive an update (which I do intend to do) then that will be one of the things addressed. Meanwhile, if any other modders out there have done audio mods before and are willing to help me feel free to contact me on discord (username is just konangod).

  []Similar to above, the name will still be the Wu Shi Academy, the background when selecting the stage will still be the Wu Shi Academy, and lastly the announcer will still say Wu Shi Academy. All of these are for the same reason, either I don't know how to change it and/or I don't think it's possible right now. Again if any other modders would like to help, feel free to contact me.

  • []Pillars will block the camera sometimes when in certain spots. The only way to fix this would be to remove them which can be done but I think they look cool in fatalities and other cinematics. If y'all don't like it, just say so and I'll remove them in a future update. The pillars have been removed, no more camera blocking!

    []VFX from the Wu Shi is still visible. I think I might be able to fix this but right now it didn't seem too bothersome so I'll address that in the future.

    []There is a model that is left from the Wu Shi on the left side of the stage. Tbh I have zero clue what model this is lol. If I can find it in the future I'll remove it but right now I have no clue.

    []There are various small floating white images/planes. This is because of how I approached hiding the models and I didn't think it all the way through lol. I know how to fix it but it's just a long process so that'll be fixed in the future.

  • The lighting of the models looks a bit off. Unfortunately, this isn't something that can be fixed. Instead, all I can do is make it less noticeable. I'll continue tweaking things to make it look better but that's about all I can do. Turns out this was an easy fix, it looks much better now lol.

    Installation:

    1. If you haven't already, following the install for MK12TTH at https://www.nexusmods.com/mortalkombat/mods/62

    2. Add all the files from zip into your MK1 local pak folder. Path should look like this \Steam\steamapps\common\Mortal Kombat 1\MK12\Content
