Danger Room - Stage - Hanging Gardens

Happy Monday Nerds. Time to try something new :) I went through Konangod's video on creating new stages. If you have already made a mod before, it is simpler except for adjusting the stage to get it to where you want. Do not be intimidated by the length of the video. A lot of it is concepts already touched on with the original mesh mod video. The heavy lifting is done by Konangod with the awesome zip folder provided to make the blank fbx's easier. Learned a ton, even about making regular mods from the notes that were given in the video. Thank you again Konangod!

The lighting is done by the game ahead of time and the Danger Room is a dome so it can be a bit darker than I would like. I still have opportunities to brighten it up once I understand how to leverage RMA textures in the way stages receive them. It was not as simple as using the ones I would typically use for mesh mods. While they do work slightly different than meshes, I can make notes on how certain colors react, therefore I have begun testing them. Overall, I am happy with my first test at messing with stages. This was a proof of concept for turning Johnny's place into Tony Stark's. Hope someone else gets a kick out of this besides me. Doing a few more to get the hang of it before I tackle johnnys mansion. - Some trees coming in through the DangerRoom.

- The victory screen is damn near pitch black

- The Enclosed Dome blocks some of the light I believe from the game. Possibly remove the roof?

- The Night level of hanging gardens turns the DangerRoom into a pitch black rave. Sorry about that. I will keep practicing with the RMA texture to make sure I can brighten that up. The problem is, most other RMA textures, cause the game to display additional shadows and alters the 3d model. Never seen that before.

- The map could use the worlds tiniest rotation. The starting point of their feet move up just a bit all the way to the right or left.
