Morrowind is a weird game, full of weird people and places. Weird Faces is an artful characterisation of this theme, giving a dour and sombre air to the denizens of the ashblighted shores. Weird Children is a consolidation of concept

Children of Morrowind is a great classic mod that adds an extra splash of life to the game. It is inventive and exhaustively integrated, clearly a huge amount of passion and effort went into making it. However I have some issues with the textures used for faces, too many kitbashed repeated images from real adult faces, so i spent months painstakingly kitbashing a small collection of images over the HUNDREDS of npc face textures. YES, CoM uses a "unique" face for every added npc and they don't use the same dimensions as regular textures so i had to do some very imaginative cut and pasting. there are so many faces that there really was no choice than to have some that are pretty similar but i did my best to make it varied

Be warned! these are some weird kids. i wanted it to lookdecent, i didn't intentionally make any look bad but they definitely ended up over on the far side of creepy which is, in my opinion, preferable.

Installation instructions

this is a simple texture replacer. it must be loaded to overwrite Children of Morrowind

Over 400 face textures completely reworked. And there are still more to do...

all the races of mer are complete, i haven't touched the argonian or khajiit, about 30 various imperial, breton and nord left to finish.

i will complete the task when i can but i'll be honest i started to really run out of steam on the last hundred or so faces.

Requirements

Children of Morrowind - I based this on RandomPals edit of the original -  Children of Morrowind for BCoM and TOTSP

but should work on either version if you have the original

Compatibility

light incompatibility with Friends and Frens by Danae123, 3 face textures will be overwritten by whichever mod is loaded later in your load order

Recommendations

if you are using CoM along with Protective Guards and its addons, pick up  from my compulsory patch hub (if we don't feed the patch hubs we will anger the mod spirits)
