📋 About This Mod
Vvarednfell Expanded - Fort Moonmoth
By Yommumoi
**This mod is an alteration mod to the original look of Fort Moonmoth. For those who feel the fort was not large enough or had an issue of the large wasted space, lack of guards or the sunken ground in the middle, this mod shall address that issue. The following alterations include:
- []Leveling the ground into a flat surface
- []Increase in all building sizes (including the wall)
- []Alteration to the surrounding landscape
- []Extra items for decoration
-
[]Extra guards
That's not all! There are other variations of the mod, so people now have the choice to choose which version they want and like. They are divided into three categories:
-
[]Vanilla - Will keep as close as possible to the original look of the fort in vanilla Morrowind. Only the exterior of the fort is modified
[
]Half-Revamp - Builds upon the Vanilla file by adding in more clutter, guards, decorations and a new building. Only the exterior of the fort is modified[]Full-Revamp - Builds upon the Half-Revamp. Keeps the exterior look of the Half-Revamp exterior but also changes the interior. New floors shall be added and existing ones will be modified to fit the theme of the revamp.
Any criticism will be welcomed as I do wish to improve on this mod in future. I will do my best to change and improve things as much as I can. For the most I am focusing on the looks of the game. Also any missions that are involved in this area will not be affected (for vanilla, modders whom added new NPC's will have to contact me to add patches).
Note: At the moment Full-Revamp is not complete and will be released in the next update.WARNING - For Half-Revamp and Full-Revamp mods I will be including assets that DO NOT belong to me. These assets belong to the team called Ultima 9 Redemption (Styled as UIX:R). The mod never got finished and so the team released all assets to the public to use. Sadly I have no clue which assets belong to who ( Just guessed for the most part) but I will include the 'Read Me' and the licenses that they published along with their assets. However, some mods where modified in order to get them working. Sadly not all the mods released by the UIX:R team had finished their assets, nor did they included all textures or sound. Therefore some editing was done to get them to working condition. With that, I am not allowing anyone to take my edited versions of the models as they did not belong to me.
The People you should thank:
[*]Alain "Spyder" Brunotte, released over a 1300 assets under the CC0 licen
-
[]Vanilla - Will keep as close as possible to the original look of the fort in vanilla Morrowind. Only the exterior of the fort is modified

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Gives Fort Moonmoth a fresh look without overhauling the whole game
- Multiple variations mean you can pick the style that fits your game
- Small but dedicated following (33 endorsements) suggests it works as advertised
⚠️ Cons
- Only 33 endorsements — not a widely tested mod, so expect potential bugs
- Last updated in 2019 — may not be compatible with latest Morrowind mod setups
- No screenshots or detailed description — you're flying blind on what the variations look like
For Morrowind players who want to spruce up Fort Moonmoth without a full overhaul. If you're a lore purist or prefer vanilla aesthetics, skip this — it's purely cosmetic and may clash with your vision.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple replacer, just drop the files into your Data Files folder and activate the .esp in the Morrowind Launcher.
- If you use a mod manager like Wrye Mash or Mod Organizer 2, install it through that to keep your load order clean.
- Check the mod's readme (if included) for which variation files to use — you might need to pick one and delete the others.
