📋 About This Mod
Of the many mods out there that overhaul this city, many have improved it, but none have solved the core issues of the city: The city has no front entrance, is a tedious maze, is too spread out, doesn't feel like a city, and nothing stands out/too repetitive. Many of what should be important landmarks are also quite underwhelming.
To correct these issues and improve the city I have done the following:
-Bring Vivec's Palace into the middle of the city as a central landmark.
-Consolidate the three main levels of the Foreign Quarter into a single "Grand Plaza".
-Remove two cantons entirely (Delyn and Olms), to make room for an actual city surrounding the palace.
-Not only give the city a more pronounced front entrance, but to give each canton it's own front entrance as well.
-Rebuild the Library of Vivec from scratch (everyone is welcome to submit in-universe books and have them added to the library with credit)
-Placed a major and prominent port at the south end of the city.
-Rebuild the Halls of Justice and Wisdom from scratch.
-Added a Private Quarters for the player available for purchase in the Foreign Quarter.
-Rebuild the Prison Moon Baar Dau in order to: Look better, (including an exclusive new asset for the exterior) have a more fitting and grand interior, accommodate stealth gameplay)
-And more to come.

Future Releases:
I have more plans for the city. But seeing as the core of the city is nearing completion, and I want to spend a lot of time on each of these, I'll be releasing these as future individual releases.
-Prison Moon Overhaul interior and exterior (complete)
-Library of Vivec Overhaul (complete)
-Unique interior design for each of -the remaining cantons. (Redoran still in progress)
-Additional NPC's and quests

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge scope — touches every part of Vivec, not just a few buildings
- Active development (last updated March 2026)
- Community-tested with 77 endorsements and 1,455 downloads
⚠️ Cons
- No compatibility notes for other Vivec mods or popular overhauls
- Small but dedicated following (77 endorsements) — may have undiscovered bugs
For Morrowind players who want to breathe new life into Vivec City and don't mind a big overhaul. If you're a completionist who's explored every canton a hundred times, this adds fresh content. Skip if you prefer lore-friendly minimal changes or use other Vivec mods that might conflict.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this is a large overhaul, back up your Morrowind installation or use a mod manager like Wrye Mash to track files.
- Check the mod's forum or comments for any known conflicts with other city overhauls before installing.
- If you use Tamriel Rebuilt or other landmass mods, test for clipping around the new Prison Moon and docks.
