📋 About This Mod

This mod is deprecated, I'm not going to support it anymore. If you need a good basic needs mod, you should use The Bare Necessities. It does pretty the same thing but is still supported.

v 2. 3a — bugfix, previous version was broken.

v 2. 3 — Now your character leaves the jail well fed and well rested. Jail check updated, now the mod is compatible to the mods that alter imprisonment mechanics.

v 2. 2 — Some changes and bugfixes: vampires and werewolves get hungry and tired now, imprisoned characters don't get hungry or tired (now it works), travelling characters may not get hungry or tired (optional, you can switch it on in mod config menu).

v 2. 1 — Mod config menu added.

v 2. 0 — Mod remasered via MWSE Lua.

  • []Skooma and moon sugar decrease tiredness now.[/]

    []Beverages decrease hunger now.[/]

[]Some issues are fixed (e. g. consuming food from container, not only from inventory).[/]

[]Tamriel Rebuilt support included to the main mod package.[/]

    Features

    • []No new items and all vanilla items unchanged.[/]

[]Hunger and tiredness penalties may seem to be too strong, but they make food and rest really necessary.[/]

[]Imprisoned characters don't get hungry or tired.[/]

      Hunger

      • []ash yam,[/]

        []bread,[/]

        []comberry,[/]

        []corprus flesh (but, really?),[/]

        []crab meat,[/]

        []daedra's heart,[/]

        []durzog meat,[/]

        []ghoul heart,[/]

        []hackle-lo leaf,[/]

        []holly berries,[/]

        []hound meat,[/]

        []human flesh,[/]

        []kwama eggs,[/]

        []marshmerrow,[/]

        []muffin,[/]

        []rat meat,[/]

        []saltrice,[/]

        []scrib cabbage,[/]

        []scrib jelly,[/]

        []scrib jerky,[/]

        []scuttle,[/]

        []wickwheat.[/]

+ All vanilla beverages are food now.

      Hunger penalties:

      • []Drain attributes: Agility, Endurance, Strength and Speed — from 10 to 100 pts.[/]

[]Drain Fatigue (varying quantity in different hunger stages).[/]

[]Drain Health (in terminal hunger stages).[/]

[]Instant death (after 260 hours of hunger).[/]

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since it's a Morrowind mod, use a mod manager like Wrye Mash or OpenMW's mod manager to keep your load order clean.
  • If you're using Tamriel Rebuilt, make sure to install this mod after TR so the food items are recognized.
  • Test the mod in a new save to avoid conflicts with existing hunger/tiredness states.
