Tamriel Water Life

Morrowind's sea life is... absent. This mod is an overhaul of Morrowind4Fish, which adds numerous types of sea animals to the game! What I changed and why:

I found Abot's sea life too complicated for me being an OpenMW user. It also adds a bunch of non-aquatic animals, like birds, to the game which I didn't want. Morrowind4Fish is a much lighter mod that just adds fish. The original mod also includes dolphins, killer whales, and various other types of sea creatures that have their Earth-bound name and appearance. We are however on Nirn, and so I found it lore breaking to find myself swimming next to free willy! I cleaned the mod with tes3cmd, converted it to an esp, and changed most of the names of the sea life and some of their colors and textures. For example, I changed the name "Killer Whale" to "Tonga" which is a Maori name that fits more appropriately with Morrowind's alien landscape. The Killer Whale is also completely black now and does not have its iconic white spots as can be found at Sea World. I did not create the original mod to this, I simply changed most of the creature names to Maori-style ones and changed the colors of some of them. FIRST, DOWNLOAD MW Mesh Generator at Morrowind Nexus - mods and community (nexusmods.com) AND FOLLOW THIS TUTORIAL Awesome Grass Tutorial - Project Tamriel (project-tamriel.com). USE THE INI FROM FIMzzZzz'S MOD. HIS INI IS NAMED "CORALS_SAND", I RENAMED IT TO "GRASS" BECAUSE THAT'S HOW THE MESH GENERATOR READS IT. I'M NOT SURE EXACTLY WHERE THE INI IS SUPPOSED TO GO SO I JUST PUT IN IN EVERY MORROWIND RELATED FOLDER I HAD TEMPORARILY. MAKE SURE MORROWIND, BLOODMOON, TR_MAINLAND, AND WHATEVER OTHER LANDMASS YOU WANT CORAL FOR ADDED TO "DATA FILES TO SEARCH' IN THE MESH GENERATOR. TO FIX FLOATING GRASS/CORAL LOWER YOUR Z-OFFSET. I SET MINE TO A NEGATIVE VALUE (-20).

TAMRIELWATERLIFE. ESP MUST BE LOADED BEFORE TR_MAINLAND. ESM OR LANDMASS CONFLICTS WILL OCCUR.
