📋 About This Mod
The Fixes V1. 1
These are the errors that have been fixed:
- Punibi Yahaz falls off his platform into the river on reloads. (silt strider in Gnisis)
- Danso Indules goes through the ground into out of bounds water under the Vivec Temple. (dunmer who sells spells and levitate potions)
- Some new characters don't have the topic "go free" after character generation preventing freeing slaves. Now the topic gets added by Sellus Gravius.
- The fences to the right of the Seyda Neen Census office are duplicated. If you don´t have this bug there is no problem as they will only be disabled after character generation.
- Fargoth's quest can be rejected from Hrisskar and has a couple minor extra resolution options
Finally, the quality of life changes:
The Census main door from the inside had a level 100 lock even after finishing generation, making very tedious going back to the office for quests like The Siege at Firemoth and Death of a Taxman. Therefore, after finishing the tutorial a key for this door will spawn on Socucius Ergalla's table, free to use.
You can now refuse to gove Hrisskar Flat-Foot the money, ending Fargoth's Hidding place quest but reducing his disposition.
Extra fixes pertaining to other mods
As optional files I upload personal changes I do to other mods as a way to keep backup and in case ayone likes them.
For example there is a file changing Keening's constant fortify health enchantment just in case someone is using Morrowind Balance Overhaul.
The mod "A strange plant" fits perfectly in my opninion but has a couple of problems that I fix in my version ( mainly reducing the number of required plants to fetch, allowing the player to reject the quest, and integrating it more into the world (more changes in the file) )
A fade to black in the mod Entertainers Expanded
The file contains a simple guide on quick manual installation.
Small fixes is a compact Morrowind bug fix mod addressing four specific errors that appeared in OpenMW with the author's mod loadout, plus a quality of life change to the tutorial. With 16 endorsements and 419 downloads, it's a niche utility for players encountering the same issues.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Directly addresses real bugs for OpenMW users—if you've hit these, it's a lifesaver.
- Tiny download (419 downloads) means it's lightweight and easy to install.
- Author shared it for free, even though it's a niche fix—community spirit.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 16 endorsements—very few people have confirmed it works for them.
- Author admits most players won't have these exact errors, so it's a gamble if it helps you.
- No details on what the four fixes actually are—you're flying blind until you test it.
For Morrowind players running OpenMW with a heavily modded loadout who've noticed specific bugs and are willing to try a niche fix. Skip if you're on the original engine or don't use many mods—this likely won't apply.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's for OpenMW, make sure you're using OpenMW and not the original Morrowind engine—this mod won't work otherwise.
- Check your load order: place this mod after other mods that might conflict, but since it's a small fix, it's usually safe to load last.
- If you don't see the bugs it fixes, you can safely skip it—it's not a general improvement mod.
