📋 About This Mod
Shade's New Always Hit ----------------------
Hi all!
I released an always-hit mod back in the day, but it was script heavy and didn't always work well.
This one is much simpler.
Basically it adds an 80% fortify attack effect to all 10 races. "But that means your character is going to be way overpowered!" you may exclaim. Well, consider that every NPC in the game also has this effect. This actually increases the difficulty significantly when fighting NPCs; you will likely have to play on 25% or 50% difficulty, even at high levels.
But boy does it feel good, and speeds up the combat a lot.
I'd recommend getting a mod that changes the projectile store chance to 100% also. When you miss with a dart or arrow, you lose it anyways, so having it always remain in corpses is a little incentive to hit what you're aiming at.
This makes Morrowind combat bearable in my book.
A gameplay mod for Morrowind that makes combat always hit, removing the chance to miss. With 114 endorsements and 3,293 downloads, it's a small but appreciated fix for players who find the base game's combat frustrating. Last updated in 2017.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Does exactly what it says—no more whiffing attacks in Morrowind.
- Small but solid community support (114 endorsements).
- Lightweight mod that doesn't overhaul anything else.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2017—may be incompatible with current game versions or mod setups.
- Removes the hit chance mechanic entirely, which might make combat too easy for some.
For Morrowind players who find the dice-roll combat frustrating and just want their hits to land. Skip if you enjoy the RPG mechanics of hit chance or want a more nuanced combat overhaul.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this mod likely replaces a game file, back up your original before overwriting.
- If you use a mod manager, install it manually to avoid conflicts with other combat mods.
- Test in a new game to ensure the mod works before loading your main save.
