📋 About This Mod
Shabby Seyda Neen
by DimNussens & Lucevar
Swaps out the meshes of the Imperial/Common buildings in Seyda Neen with a more swamp-appropriate, run-down version. These use vanilla textures, so they'll use whichever texture replacers you're running.
Now you'll feel like it really is the damp little squat the locals complain about - and Pelagiad will feel like a breath of fresh air in comparison.
Also includes some (90+ as of 1. 21) extra pieces not used in vanilla Seyda Neen, such as a well. Feel free to use these as modders resources.
Installation

]If you want to use one of the alternate versions, install either 01 Dark Wood or 01 Dark Wood with Plaster on top of 00 Core.Compatibility

Shabby Seyda Neen replaces the buildings in Seyda Neen with run-down versions that fit the swampy setting. It works with any texture replacer and is BCOM-compatible, also serving as a modder's resource with 90+ new meshes. A niche visual overhaul for Morrowind players.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 89 endorsements and over 1,400 downloads—solid for a niche visual mod.
- Works with any texture replacer, so you can keep your preferred look without conflicts.
- BCOM compatibility means it slots into popular mod setups without extra hassle.
⚠️ Cons
- Only touches Seyda Neen—if you want a full Vvardenfell overhaul, this is just a small piece.
- Last updated in November 2023—might not be tested against the latest Morrowind modding scene.
- No explicit install instructions in the description—you'll need to figure out the setup yourself.
For Morrowind players who want a grittier, more immersive Seyda Neen that fits the swampy vibe. Also great for modders looking for new meshes to build with. Skip if you're after gameplay changes—this is purely visual.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it uses your texture replacer, make sure your texture mod is installed first to see the intended look.
- If you use BCOM, load Shabby Seyda Neen after it to ensure the building replacements take effect.
- Check the mod's file structure—if it's a simple drop-in, place the meshes and textures in your Data Files folder.
