📋 About This Mod
Installation Just put the esp into "Data Files" folder, then activate the esp using the launcher.
Incompability This mod is NOT compatible with other mod that modifies "ouch_wraithguard" script. But should be COMPATIBLE with mod that modifies how the jury-rigged wraithguard looks, such as "Jury-rig Wraithguard Replacer JWR by Alaisiagae"
Save Files It should be fine to play with old save files, even after you receive jury-rigged wraithguard.
This small Morrowind mod removes the permanent health penalty applied when you first equip the jury-rigged Wraithguard, making it safer to use. It's for players who want to avoid the health drain without altering other aspects of the item. With 28 endorsements and last updated in 2015, it's a niche fix for a specific annoyance.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Directly solves a frustrating penalty for a key artifact.
- Lightweight and easy to install—just drop it in your Data Files.
- Community-tested with 28 endorsements from players who wanted this fix.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2015—may not be compatible with newer mod setups or engine patches.
- Only affects the health penalty; doesn't address other potential issues with the Wraithguard.
For Morrowind players who hate the permanent health hit from the jury-rigged Wraithguard and want a clean fix. Skip if you're fine with the penalty or want a more comprehensive overhaul of the item.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Place the mod's files in your Morrowind Data Files folder and check it in the Morrowind Launcher's Data Files list.
- If you're using a mod manager like Wrye Mash or Mod Organizer 2, add it through that instead for easier management.
- This mod only changes the health penalty—make sure you have the original Wraithguard from the main quest, not a modded version, to avoid conflicts.
