📋 About This Mod
Revolving Doors Blocker
A quick and dirty blocker for doors going nowhere.
Latest MWSE-Lua dev required.
If you like to explore unfinished landmass mods (e.g Tamriel Rebuilt Preview area),
you may be familiar with finding doors meant to be linked to some interior cell in the future, but
just rotating around their center at the moment.
This mod should make this kind of unfinished doors less immersion ruining by dynamically blocking them
at real time with a proper message.
alt + activate to mark a special door as openable (it will be locked 1 and unlocked, marking it as "special" openable)
in addition to the alt + activate to mark a special door as openable,
If you find some door that should not be blocked, you can easily add it to the mod exception list in source code
1. open the in-game console
2. click the door
3. take note of the door identifier (it is what appears on the console window header minus last 8 digits,
e.g. if you see my_Golden_Door00000003, the door identifier is my_Golden_Door
4. add the identifier as a new lowercase entry in the skipDoors list inside the main.lua file
e.g. with our my_Golden_Door example it would become something like this:
local skipDoors = {
-- insert doors you want to skip here (lowercase ids)
['door_cavern_doors00'] = 1,
['ex_t_door_stone_large'] = 1,
['my_golden_door'] = 1,
