📋 About This Mod
Red Mountain Tremors 2. 0 - OpenMW
---------------------------------
by AbbaddoN33
Requirements:
----------------------
This mod requires OpenMW 0. 48+
Description:
-------------------
This mod adds tremors across all of Vvardenfell, but mainly in the Red Mountain region, the Molag Amur region and the Ashlands region.
The closer the player is to the Red Mountain, the more intense and frequent the tremors will be, being in the outer regions a LOT more sporadic and weak.
After all, the island is literally a volcano, so the tremors would be perceptible throughout the island, thus reminding us of its nature, as well as highlighting the presence of the main enemy.
Once the main quest is completed, the tremors will cease, because, I want to think, the enemy's machinations were the main cause of the chaos on Red Mountain.
Recommended Mods:

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Active community interest with 90 endorsements and 3,001 downloads
- Recent update (October 2025) suggests ongoing compatibility
- Focused on immersion for OpenMW players
⚠️ Cons
- Requires OpenMW 0.48+, so not for vanilla Morrowind players
- Limited to tremors—may not add other environmental effects
For Morrowind players using OpenMW who want to enhance the volcanic atmosphere of Vvardenfell. If you're a purist looking for more environmental immersion, this adds a subtle but impactful effect. Skip if you're on the original engine or want broader gameplay changes.
