Description: This mod adds a shield for the Royal Guard armor to the game. Only one shield can be obtained through a small questline. Talk to the smith Yagak gro-Gluk in the Craftsman Hall in Godsreach to get started.

Credits: The shield was created and published by REGULUS V. PJK created the little questline around it. REGULUS V would like to thank Bethesda for making such an awesome game and the numerous modders who came before him and inspired him to become a modder himself.  PJK would like to thank the same people, as well as REGULUS V for his fine shield.

Installation: Extract the contents of this file into your Morrowind Directory.  Alternatively you can copy the contents of the "Data Files" folder included in this zip and paste them into the Morrowind/Date Files directory on your computer.

Characteristics Shield: A kite shield-esque medium shield. The Id name (console) for the shield is "Helsethguard_shield".  The stats for the shield are comparable to the other (better) Royal Guard armor pieces. The stats have however been slightly altered in comparison to the original plugin as published by REGULS V. Based on a comparison to primarily the Royal Guard and Indoril armor sets, the following was altered: Weight: Slight increase (0. 5 or 1) Health: Strong increase (1100 now). The previous value was a serious underestimation of what should be. * Enchantment rating: Moderate increase.

Notes on the Modelling: The shield uses several default Bethesda textures including bits of the Imperial tower shield and Helseth guard armor textures.  Thus, any texture replacement packs that replace these textures will affect the texture on the shield.  The shield emblem (TX_A_Shield Emblem.bmp and Shield Emblem.bmp) included in this mod is a mash up of Tribunal textures that were not made by me,  only edited by me from Bethesda's texture work.
