📋 About This Mod
OPENMW ONLY!
Version 3. X released
-
[]Fixed an embarrassing bug in version 2. X that caused the amount to be paid not to update when the player leveled up.
[
]Added the option to pay progressive taxes .The new "Auto" option allows the payment rates to increase gradually, following the formula: Tax to be paid = Player level x (20 + (player level x 5)) . This means that the player will pay little in the early levels and significantly more in the later levels.
For example, a level 1 player will pay only 25 septims every ten days, a level 5 player will pay 225, and a level 10 player will pay 700. This is the recommended option.

UPDATING FROM V. 1. X TO V. 2. X REQUIRES PREVIOUSLY DELETING THE MOD, SAVE THE GAME WITH V. 1. X OF THE MOD UNINSTALLED AND THEN INSTALL THE NEW VERSION
Version 2. X released
Since I haven't had time to adapt the mod to automatically calculate taxes based on the player's properties or faction ranks, I've decided to make a small fix so that taxes are calculated based on the character's level. Although I know this system isn't perfect, the player's level usually represents their economic capacity. If you disagree with this change, you can always use previous versions of the mod.
The main changes are:
-
[]Setting a tax rate based on the player's level: 50, 100, 150, 200, or 250 drakes per level, to be determined by the player. It's enough to determine it only once during the game.
-
[]Increasing the max deposit amount to 100,000 drakes.
-
[]Improved notification system so that ONLY in the case that the amount of money in reserve is less than the amount the player has to pay, it will be notified through a pop-up window. This way, it prevents the player from inadvertently facing an exorbitant fine.
-
[]Now you can pay taxes to any member of the Census and Excise Office with a minimum rank of 6 (Socucius Ergalla and Attrebus Ayonis in the Old Ebonheart office) and to Gorelius in Dragonstar (Skyrim).-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This mod adds a system that requires you to pay taxes in Morrowind every ten days. I've tried to keep the system as straightforward as possible, making the mod relevant in the game without overwhelming the player. Here's how it works:

- Tiny mod with only 36 endorsements — expect rough edges and minimal community support.
- No documentation or install instructions provided by the author — you're on your own.

For OpenMW players who crave extra roleplay depth and want to simulate civic duties in Vvardenfell. Skip if you're on the original engine or prefer gameplay over bookkeeping.
