📋 About This Mod
Full changelog history can be found here
Give the NPCs in your mod a real voice. Morrowind Voice Generator pulls the dialogue a mod adds or changes, lets you assign a voice per race and gender, renders it all to MP3, and drops the files exactly where the game looks for them. A five-line house mod or the whole of Tamriel Rebuilt, same workflow either way.
► You need a framework mod to play the voices
This tool makes the audio. Something in-game has to play it at the right moment: Voices of Vvardenfell, which works on both MWSE and OpenMW (0. 51 or newer). Install it, then add your pack alongside.
Without it, your pack stays silent in-game. Install it first.
► What it does
-
[]Extracts only what your mod changes. Dialogue comes straight from the ESM/ESP, and anything identical to vanilla gets skipped.[/]
[]Understands load order. When several mods touch the same line, it picks the winner and shows you what each one said.[/]
[]One voice per race and gender. Then override any individual NPC you want to sound different.[/]
[]Voices the player-facing lines too. Codes like %PCRace or %Cell get a spoken stand-in you pick, so those lines don't get skipped.[/]
[]Edit a line before it's spoken. Rewrite the text and the change follows that line everywhere it turns up.[/]
[]Files land where the game looks. Every clip is named and foldered exactly how the framework reads them, so nothing needs wiring up afterwards.[/]
[]Knows what's already done. It tracks the database against the files on disk. Point a race at a better voice and only those lines get remade, nothing else is touched.[/]
[]Ends in a finished pack. Everything is filed into one folder your mod manager can install as-is.[/]
► Or voice your whole load order
Alright, you maniacs. I made it so you can point the app at your entire load order and voice the whole thing. Fair warning: the line count may be... distressing!
It reads straight from Mod Organizer 2 or a plain OpenMW setup, and you pick which mod the new files land in. Anything another mod already voiced, loose files or packed
