Morrowind Modding Guide 2025

So, I am what some may call a modding tourist - once in a blue moon I decide to wreck my life by trying to work impossible mod account with Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 4/NV or Morrowind. Since I am hyperactive af... well half of my attempts fail, because to me modding on large scale is more akin to building a starship in a bottle.

I decided to aim for a modding setup that can be configured during one afternoon as opposed to spending a week trying to make Skyrim look and behave more like Morrowind. (Yes, I make every game look like Morrowind. I loved the game to death. Now, being reborn as a succubus, I still love it! I take my nourishment via astral path from all the Morrowind lovers that interact with my guide, so interact a lot).

• []Documentation. I usually totally forget what I've been doing the moment I don't need it. After starting over for like a fifth time, I reasoned a documentation would be nice.

  []Community. I want to give back to the community, at least a little bit.

  []Keep up with the times. To my knowledge, there are no good up-to-date, reasonable and comprehensive guides for Morrowind (except for this one! Let's hear it for Drake Platinum THE WORLD. And also this one! Lets hear it for Sigourn! Thanks Mammon0815 for telling me.)

  []What reasonable is? Keeping active mods around 100. It makes for smoother modding experience, gameplay experience and overall will improve your relationships.

  []What comprehensive is? Explain not only what, but tries to go into detail of why.
